How We Produce High-Quality Maize Silage

At Milkvruddhi, we follow a scientifically designed, controlled, and hygienic manufacturing process to produce high-quality maize silage that delivers consistent nutrition and performance.

Our process begins right from the selection of the crop and continues through carefully monitored stages of chopping, packing, fermentation, and storage. Every step is executed with precision to ensure that the natural nutritional value of maize is preserved and enhanced.

Unlike traditional open silage methods, Milkvruddhi uses a bag-based fermentation system, where freshly chopped maize is immediately packed into airtight 50 kg bags. This method creates a perfect anaerobic (oxygen-free) environment, which is essential for proper silage formation.

Inside these sealed bags, natural fermentation takes place, where beneficial bacteria convert plant sugars into lactic acid. This process not only preserves the feed but also improves its digestibility and nutritional efficiency, making it highly beneficial for livestock.

OUR CONTROLLED APPROACH ENSURES

Uniform fermentation in every bag

Minimal nutrient loss

Protection from external contamination

Consistent quality across all batches

- 01

Crop Selection (Right Maturity Stage)

We carefully select maize harvested at the ideal maturity stage (milk to dough stage) to ensure maximum nutritional value, energy content, and optimal silage quality.

- 02

Chopping & Processing

The harvested maize is finely chopped using advanced machinery to achieve the ideal particle size, which is essential for:

  • Proper fermentation
  • Easy digestion
  • Better feed intake by livestock

- 03

Packing into 50 kg Airtight Bags

Immediately after chopping, the material is packed into high-quality, airtight 50 kg bags.

This step is critical because:

  • It creates an oxygen-free (anaerobic) environment
  • Prevents contamination and spoilage
  • Ensures uniform fermentation in each bag

- 04

Natural Fermentation Inside Bags

Once sealed, the silage undergoes natural fermentation inside the bags, where beneficial bacteria convert sugars into lactic acid.

This process:

  • Preserves nutrients
  • Enhances digestibility
  • Improves feed efficiency
  • Increases shelf life

- 05

Storage & Dispatch

The sealed bags are stored under controlled conditions to maintain quality until delivery.

We ensure:

  • Proper stacking
  • Protection from damage
  • Timely dispatch to customers

At Milkvruddhi, every 50 kg bag is a complete, ready-to-use nutrition solution—fermented, preserved, and packed with care.
